Our professional approach

We are members of the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI) the professional association of food service consultants. In order to qualify for acceptance into the Society, members must meet strict criteria assuring their experience and overall professionalism. Members of the FCSI must adhere to a strict Code of Conduct and are required to complete a CPD programme annually to maintain membership.  Above all FCSI consultants are independent - we work only in our client's interest.

BTA took the lead in developing a Code of Best Practise for consultancy work involving third party suppliers, which has subsequently been adopted by the FCSI.  In this, strict parameters are set for consultancy work involving third party suppliers such as catering contractors, including the fee earning arrangements for the consultant.

We are also members of the Institute of Hospitality,the Museums Association and the Association of Cultural Enterprises.
