In-house support

Boyd-Thorpe Associates offers a comprehensive support service to organisations that have chosen to operate catering in house.  Our consultants have considerable hands-on experience of operating cafes and restaurants and can provide independent professional support. Through our in-house support service we both support and nurture the in-house catering manager in a similar way that an operations manager would support a contracted-out service. 

Our first steps are to review the catering operation to identify the current trading position. From this we will produce a targeted support plan, in consultation with the catering team. This can include anything from a single piece of work supporting one particular area of the operation to a long-term action plan covering the whole operation.
