Alex has worked for over 10 years in the hospitality industry. He brings to BTA a passion for service excellence and a deep understanding of the operational issues which can facilitate or hinder the delivery of strategic goals.
Alex studied Mathematics and Philosophy at Manchester Univeristy and there developed the ability to interpret complex verbal and numerical information and to analyse and develop complex arguments. After attending RMA Sandhurst where he honed his leadership skills, Alex embarked on a career in hospitality and has run restaurants, bars and cafes with great success on his way to us.
He has operational experience of both opening and re launching businesses and understands the peculiar challenges of developing a new team from scratch but also of changing an ingrained culture within an established one.
He delivered increased efficiency and profitibility, adding real bottom line value, working as an internal consultant with Mitchells and Butlers plc. and it was this experience which sparked his desire to make a career move from operations into consultancy.
Alex has a reputation as a highly focussed and results driven manager, with a logical and methodical approach to achieving tasks and objectives. He brings to the team High Street bar and restaurant experience, an eye for operational detail and energy and enthusiam for delivering first class services.
