Terrace Restaurant at London Zoo is shortlisted for prestigious 2014 New London Architecture Awards

The shortlisted projects for the 2014 New London Architecture (NLA) Awards have been formally announced and The Terrace Restaurant at ZSL London Zoo is amongst their number - a finalist in the ‘Hotels and Hospitality’ category.  This is a major coup as these awards recognise ‘the very best in architecture, planning and development in the capital’.  The restaurant, which was designed by SHH architects in consultation with Boyd-Thorpe Associates, was part of a £4.5m project to upgrade catering facilities at London Zoo and opened in September 2013.  We are in excellent company, with projects by Zaha Hadid, Wilkinson Eyre, Allies Morrison and Lifschutz Davison shortlisted.  Other shortlisted projects from across the capital include Wembley Stadium, the Serpentine Sackler Gallery and Battersea Power Station.  The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Guildhall on Wednesday 9th July.
