BTA retained by the Imperial War Museum to evaluate their corporate hospitality strategy

BTA have worked with the Imperial War Museum at all five of their branches for over 10 years and it was with great pleasure that we returned recently to carry out a new piece of work. The Imperial War Museum, Lambeth Road is undergoing a major redevelopment of its exhibition spaces in time for the 2014 First World War centenary.  In this first phase of a long term project the corporate hospitality and public catering will move to new spaces within the building.  BTA were engaged to consider the best model for the future management of corporate hospitality.  The appraisal considered the sales and marketing of the venue as well as the physical delivery of catering.  Carrying out extensive research into the London Unique venue market, the study considered the option of retaining an in house sales team and a list of caterers alongside the option of appointing a single caterer to manage both the selling of the venue and the delivery of catering.
