National Memorial Arboretum considers future catering management options
As the design of the catering areas in the National Memorial Arboretum's new visitor centre progress we have been turning our attention to the long term management of the catering facilities. Working with a panel comprising Trustees and management of the NMA we have been considering the long term management of catering at the Arboretum which will comprise a 300 seat visitor restaurant, a café and 330 seat function suite. The catering services are currently managed in house and this remains an option but consideration has been given to the benefits of outsourcing all or some of the catering. Expressions of interest were invited from caterers in November and following a shortlisting process, site visits and exploratory dialogue will commence with five companies in the new year.http://www.thenma.org.uk/
We are delighted to have been appointed by Dulwich Picture Gallery to assist with the management of the competitive tender for the cafe and corporate hospitality contract. 
Boyd-Thorpe Associates have been reappointed by the Imperial War Museum to carry out an option appraisal for the future structure and management of the corporate events business within the museum following the redesign currently being undertaken by Fosters and Partners.
